projects and activities
DBIN have now produced their Delivery Plan for 2012. Here are some highlights.
Our Plan for 2012 – our strategic aims remain the same.
- Equiping Faith Communities to work together
- Joining with partners to address some tough issues in our community
- Helping Dudley residents learn more about the people of other faiths
- Linking young people of faith across the borough
- Helping women’s groups link across faiths
The exciting bit is that DBIN has been approached by four partners who want to involve the faith groups in reaching people of other faiths. So our plan includes four projects which we are working on with partners. They are :-
- Winter Befriending project with Dudley Ccouncil for Voluntary Service
- Faith for Recovery Project with the Dudley Adult Community Drug Service
- Supporting victims of violence in the home with DMBC
- Supporting faith groups to work safely with children and young people with a range of partners across the Black country.
As well as this we hope to help women’s groups across the borough from different faiths to get to know each other better and get some joint projects led by young people off the ground.
